Do you want to get as central as possible in Zagreb, Croatia? Look no further than Hotel Dubrovnik. This hotel is sitting on the south end of the town square. This is the perfect location to explore the city of Zagreb. Seriously, you can’t get anymore central than this folks.
Take a look out of my window, the view is superb. This is the ultimate people watching spot. While in Zagreb, they had several events going on in the square. From my window, I had the perfect view.
Stepping into the room, you’re welcomed and with a very cohesive business style. Everything is straightforward and easy to find. The bedding is quite comfortable and I got a good nights sleep for three nights during my stay. You know Pierre loves to get work done while traveling so he was a bit disappointed when he didn’t find coffee or tea in the room. Lucky for me, there was a bakery right across the street.
The bathroom was a delight. I have learned to appreciate the little things more while traveling in Eastern Europe. Unlike my previous hotel, this hotel had great water pressure. What a treat!
In the morning I found a breakfast in a very busy dining room. The hotel must be doing quite the business. They’ve got a fairly standard selection of food. All tasted incredibly good. What I liked was that they always knew the correct amount of salt. This might not sound like a big deal, but everything was perfectly seasoned.
The hotel is currently in expansion-mode and has a brand-new wing on the south end of the building. The design of the new area is very up-to-date compared to the other side of the hotel. This is also where you will find the gym. The gym is quite small but because I do lots of body weight exercises it worked out.
At the end of the day, what the Hotel Dubrovnik really has is to offer is the perfect location. You simply cannot beat where the hotel is located. The location coupled with some other nice features and good service make Hotel Dubrovnik a solid choice while exploring Zagreb, Croatia!
