There is one hotel brand that is continuously impressing me lately, it goes by the name of Radisson Blu. I think it’s because over the years, they have gone through rebranding and became a serious player in the high-end hotel segment. Their property in Vienna, Austria was very exciting and an enjoyable place to spend a few nights. What I noticed overall, was that they really focus on the details. The final product regardless of country, have been magnificent.
The hotel is right in the middle of the action. You needn’t walk far and you can be anywhere in the city. Also, there is easy access to the public transportation.
I was able to secure a room on the fourth floor. Walking in, you smell that new hotel scent. Everything was super fresh. I love the cohesiveness of the room. All of the interior design matched flawlessly and had some creative points that I liked such as the artwork above the desk.
The bathroom was very spacious and bright so you can get yourself ready easily. I like that the magnifying mirror was built right into the larger mirror.
The part that Pierre gets super excited about is really the magnificent breakfast that they offer at all Radisson Blu hotels. They really get how to make a wonderful breakfast! As usual, they offer a wide variety of a la carte items as well as a full buffet of cold items. Perfection! Not to mention the dining room is beautiful too!
There is a gym on the -1 floor and they also have a relaxation area with a sauna. Not the most extensive spa or gym in the world but definitely enough to stay fit.
The service throughout my stay was very professional. All of the staff were very courteous and were willing to accommodate all of my needs and requirements. This was definitely a lot better service than some of the other higher-end luxury hotels in the city.
If you want consistent service, design and great food, the Radisson Blu is a wonderful choice. This brand has proven to be consistent throughout my travels and the Vienna property is no exception. They definitely have a very luxurious offering and I would highly recommend you to visit the Radisson Blu in Vienna, Austria as soon as possible!
