3 Best Restaurants for Steak in Dubai

Last updated on September 24th, 2025

No matter how many foods I try, one meal that will hold a special place in my heart is simply a nice steak, cooked medium-rare, a glass of full-bodied red wine and French fries with bearnaise sauce. This is a meal that can generally be found anywhere around the world, but not all preparations are created equal.

Dubai is known for its many luxuries, including fine food. During my latest Dubai trip, I ventured deep into the land of fine steakhouses that offered high-end meat. I sampled several but there were three restaurants in particular which absolutely blew me away! Without further ado, I give to you the 3 Best Restaurants for Steak in Dubai.

3. The Exchange Grill

Best Restaurants for Steak in Dubai

The Exchange Grill is located at the Dubai World Trade Center Metro Station inside of the Fairmont Dubai Hotel. I’ve actually written a full, in-depth review of my experience, which you can find in this separate article. From beginning to end the meal at The Exchange Grill was flawless. From the bread to the appetizers, the lovely Australian Wagyu, to the service, I was in dining heaven. The staff were knowledgeable about what they were serving which was also delightful.

For the evening, I went with the Australian Kobe Cuisine AA9, which was delicious! The only shortcoming of The Exchange Grill, compared to the others, was the lack of city view. Of course the bull-inspired interior design was great but the experience is definitely improved with a breathtaking vista.

2. The Observatory Bar & Grill

The Observatory Grill is perched atop the Marriott Harbour Hotel and Suites, which you can read about my experience here. The restaurant offers a truly remarkable view of the Dubai Marina.

I ordered the 200 gram USA Wagyu Steak and it was prepared perfectly. The Observatory Grill not only did great with the beef, but also their lobster entree, side dishes, dessert and service were top-notch.

The actual quality of meat may have been better at The Exchange Grill, but the overall experience along with the Dubai Marina view jumped this restaurant to number 2 on the list.

1. Prime68

Prime68 is located in the CBD of Dubai, in an area known as Business Bay, atop Tower A of the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel. Prime68 excels in its view (nearly 20 stories higher than The Observatory Grill) and selection of meat. Of the three, Prime68 is the only venue offering AAco’s AA9 Master Kobe Wagyu.

Not only do you get to enjoy the finest Australian Wagyu available, but you’ll be chewing it while looking out over a very incredible view.

I’ll be the first to admit that although Prime68’s starters were good, they weren’t as tasty as The Exchange Grill or The Observatory Grill. However, if we focus on quality of steak, wine selection and ambiance, Prime68 takes the top position.

When it’s all said and done, these three Best Restaurants for Steak in Dubai all offer fantastic experiences! Prime68 is my favorite overall, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Exchange Grill or The Observatory Grill as well! Bon appetite.

BEST TRAVEL RESOURCES

Here are my go-to companies when planning my travels. They’re my first stop for flights, accommodations, tours, and staying connected!

  • Skyscanner - Skyscanner is my favorite flight search engine of all time for consistently finding the best deals. It searches smaller booking sites that others often miss. This is where I end up time and time again after first deciding where I want to go in Google Flights.
  • Trip.com - Trip.com is another quality travel booking engine that I use often for flights and hotels. Sometimes they have options that aren’t listed in other sites. I don’t start with it but use it just before I pay for my flight tickets to confirm that I am getting the best prices.
  • Booking.com - Booking.com offers one of the largest selections of budget accommodations worldwide. It consistently finds the lowest prices and I also appreciate its user-friendly interface and the option to book without upfront payment.
  • Agoda - This website is the go-to for finding hotels across Asia, offering the most extensive inventory and the best rates. Whenever I travel in Asia, it’s the only accommodation site I use, it’s the best out there.
  • SquareMouth - SquareMouth is a leading online marketplace for travel insurance, offering a wide range of policies from top-rated providers.
  • XE - I’ve been using XE for all my international money transfers, and it’s been a game changer. The fees are transparent, and I get the real exchange rate, which saves me so much compared to other services.
  • GoWithGuide - GoWithGuide is a platform for booking guided tours, cooking classes and outdoor adventures. The rates tend to be competitive and another way to experience a place without breaking the bank.
  • TRAFALGAR - Trafalgar offers higher-end guided tours that tend to be longer in length and take travelers deep into the heart of each destination. Their tours are designed for travelers who want stress-free, immersive travel, with everything from accommodations to transportation taken care of.
  • NordVPN - NordVPN provides online security and privacy while you travel worldwide. There are many VPNs out there but NordVPN is one of the best. Ideal for travelers and remote workers alike.
  • GlobalYo - GlobalYo connects travelers with a robust selection of eSIM options for hassle-free mobile data worldwide. I’ve bought several eSims from them and they’re always affordable and connect me wherever I am.
