It’s been great to be back in Warsaw, Poland! During this visit, which was my second to the city, I had the chance to stay at the famous Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel, an iconic property. Originally it opened in 1976, it was one of Warsaw’s first luxury hotels. Recently, the property has undergone a massive renovation which has made it incredibly modern and beautiful. Even with all of its modern comforts, it still keeps its original character.

For my stay at the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel, I had the pleasure of enjoying a freshly renovated Opera Suite, on the sixth floor. When I opened the door, my jaw hit the floor because of this suite’s beauty. This massive suite had everything I could possibly want, and more. There was lots of space to move around in and comfortable seating options everywhere I turned. The marble dining room table in the living room was a lovely touch as well. I want to thank the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel for the lovely welcome gift!
This Opera Suite is also ideal for extended stays as it has a full kitchen. Not only is the kitchen functional but it’s gorgeous as well, just take a look. There is a cook-top, microwave, capsule coffee maker, kettle, and small mini-fridge.
The gorgeous style continued on into the bedroom which featured a king-size bed. Not only is it possible to order various pillows, it’s also possible to change mattresses depending preference. This was the first time I have heard about such a feature!
I must say that the master bathroom was my favorite part aesthetically of the entire Opera Suite. The beautiful marble, accented with golden fixtures was a match made in heaven! The master bathroom was equipped with a large wardrobe, separate shower stall, electronic toilet with bidet, and bathtub.
In the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel’s suites, guests can enjoy the lovely Hermes toiletries, probably my favorite lotion scent in existence. It brought back memories from when I visited the Sofitel Bangkok and first tried the lotion many years ago.
The suite actually had two bathrooms in total, their was a half bathroom in the entryway of the suite in addition to the master bathroom.
On the -1 floor of the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel there is a pool, gym, and changing rooms with dry sauna. These facilities are top notch! It was fun to swim on my back and see my reflection in the mirrored ceiling as I glided across the pool like an angel.
From the moment I went to sleep I was looking forward to waking up and trying the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria’s breakfast! The buffet spread did not disappoint and was absolutely massive. There were tons of local options to choose from as well as international favorites. Quality service matched the quality breakfast. There’s also several à la carte options to choose from as well, I went for the Eggs Benedict. Very good!
On my final morning at the property I had the pleasure of trying the room service breakfast. It came on time, looked great, and tasted like heaven.
Throughout my stay, the staff were great during every interaction I had! The property is so conveniently located, near Warsaw’s Old Town and the modern center, everything was easily walk-able. This property is not only gorgeous but has a lot of character all matched with a superb level of service. In conclusion, I had such a great stay at the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel that I can easily recommend it to all, you won’t be disappointed!
