My last stop on my recent trip to India was the famous city of Mumbai. This was actually my first trip ever to Mumbai, and I was quite excited to explore. I arrived in the evening and was promptly picked up at the airport by the amazing JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu transfer service to get to the hotel.

Lucky for me it only took 25 minutes to reach the beautiful JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, located on the beach. Juhu is an area of Mumbai famous for expensive real estate and being home to many Bollywood stars. As we approached the property, it felt like we were arriving at a private mansion. We walked through security and then into massive lobby. The JW Marriott staff were quick to check us in and then it was up to the Executive Club Floor to see my one bedroom suite!
This one bedroom suite had a lot to offer and felt like home. The view looked down to the beach and pool. Some features of the living room were a cozy seating area, working desk and coffee station. There was also a power adapter for the UK style outlets.
Next door to the living room was the bedroom with the infamous super-comfortable Marriott bedding. It was so comfortable that I even enjoyed breakfast in bed, I’d recommend you to do the same!
The spacious bathroom was equipped with large bathtub with a view, and glass shower stall. White marble always makes me feel the luxury.
This one bedroom suite actually had a second half bathroom as well!
Back in the living room, the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu staff welcomed me with a gin and tonic cocktail kit. Infused gin and lots of tasty mixers are always appreciated. Thanks JW Marriott Juhu!
It was great to be on the same floor as the Marriott Executive Club Lounge. The club lounge looks over the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu’s pool and beach. At the Executive Lounge you can enjoy a full buffet and a la carte breakfast, afternoon tea and evening dinner with a very lengthy happy hour. Not only did they have tons of food to choose from, but they also had great staff. By the end of the stay, I made a few new friends that were passionate about their work like I am. I greatly enjoyed the breakfast in the Executive Club Lounge because it was very peaceful.
Another feature I greatly enjoyed at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu were the plethora of high-end food and beverage outlets. During my stay I was able to visit their Italian restaurant called Mezzo Mezzo, their Indian restaurant Saffron, their oriental restaurant Dashanzi, and Bombay Baking Company. Read about Dashanzi in this separate article!
The Bombay Baking Company appears to be a standard café from the outside, however, when diving into the menu, I learned it was much more! Located on the lobby floor of the property Bombay Baking Company has a really nice menu with incredibly tasty salads, soups, sandwiches, desserts and high-quality tea. My favorite lunch was a combination of a salad and tea!
The JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu’s Quan Spa, fitness center and relaxation areas are located on the lower level. The fitness center is massive with tons of equipment. What really excited me about this floor were the relaxation areas. Separated into both male and female, the changing and relaxation rooms offer lockers, steam rooms, saunas, relaxation areas and hot/cold pools. There is nothing like having a lovely steam and then jumping into the ice cold plunge pool! I feel alive.
The pool at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu is quite impressive. Surrounded with manicured greenery made this a sight to see!
During my time with the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu I utilized their car service several times. Not only did I transfer from the airport to the property, and back again, I also went with one of their drivers around Mumbai for a day tour. During the tour I visited tons of local sites including Mani Bhavan (Gandhi’s house), Gateway of India, Mumbai Train Station, a southern Indian temple, lots of colonial architecture, and much more! Having the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu car service around made this whole tour incredibly easy. My driver Rama and the JW Marriott Concierge offered an incredibly personalized and thoughtfully planned experience. I’d recommend this if you visit!

Overall, my stay at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu was incredible! The property doesn’t come up short with any aspect, offering a fully encompassing luxury experience. Throughout my stay, I met dozens of incredible Marriott staff members who showed me kindness and gave a personal touch that really pushed this property into a high-level of greatness. Not often do I get to visit properties that are this fantastic and therefore I can easily recommend you to visit the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu!
