It was my first trip to Abu Dhabi in four years and my first stop was at The St. Regis Hotel. From the moment I walked in I felt that I was in the presence of luxury. The lobby is one of the most impressive lobbies I’ve ever visited. Incredibly grand ceilings, tall curved staircases, chandeliers and of course, a pianist. If you sit there long enough they will even offer you dates and Arabic coffee, what a delight. After a smooth check-in process, it was time to head up to my room on the 44th floor!

The room was gorgeous, possessing the classic St. Regis atmosphere I’ve grown accustomed to. The personalized welcome PIERREBLAKE cupcakes were also a delight with their beauty and deliciousness. Seriously, I will not forget these super special and tasty cupcakes!
As with other St. Regis Hotels, the Abu Dhabi property offers a fantastic butler service. There isn’t a Club Lounge, but no need to fear because the butler service makes up for it. At any time of the day you can call your butler and be assisted with nearly anything including complimentary tea and coffee with cookies.
The bathroom is an area of the room where this beautiful St. Regis Abu Dhabi truly shined. I felt like a king with all of the marble. The shower was gorgeous but the bathtub was the centerpiece!
My room had a lovely view of the surrounding area, gorgeous at all times of day!
The St. Regis Abu Dhabi offers multiple pools and gyms! There is one next to the Remede Spa in the main building of the property, and one at the Nation Riviera Beach Club, accessible by tunnel! I love the relaxation areas in The St. Regis Remede Spa, which had a great design and seriously amazing service. The attendants were there to offer anything you desire and more.
The pools was also beautifully designed in two different ways. The St. Regis Nation Riviera Beach Club Pool seemed a bit larger, but guests also have an option to easily visit the property’s adjoining beachfront. The Nation Riviera Beach Club also features a steam room and sauna.
There was quite an extensive and impressive buffet for breakfast and also for dinner at The Terrace On The Corniche Restaurant. The Terrace Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, along with tons of great staff to make sure you your needs are fulfilled. I was satisfied on multiple occasions, enjoying several meals at this quality venue. I would highly recommend you to visit on their seafood night. It is possible to order items a la carte also, even though this is primarily a buffet. I recommend you to try the spicy salmon sashimi dish!
Another restaurant at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi I was able to try for dinner was the Italian restaurant called Villa Toscana. I was impressed at how full the dining room was during dinner. This was clearly a very popular restaurant. I sampled several dishes from the menu and some of my favorites were the bruschetta and the tenderloin. Also, I wasn’t feeling great that evening, but a staff member helped me feel better by making an incredible customized cocktail. Thanks Villa Toscana staff!
My experience at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi Hotel were nothing short of glorious! Features of the experience that really stood out in my mind were the amazing butler service, incredible relaxation and fitness facilities, as well as an immaculate luxury design. If you want a hotel that makes you feel like a king or queen, or both, look no further than The St. Regis Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates!
