Hotel Muse Review (Bangkok, Thailand)

15 Jul 2016

The last hotel that I stayed in while in Bangkok was Hotel Muse. The property is located on the famous Langsuan street which is in the center of Bangkok. The property is known for its its unique design. They went with a darker color scheme throughout the hotel.

After a short drive, we arrived at the hotel and were offered a welcome drinks. I thought it was really amazing that they offered limoncello for a welcome drink! Not only can you get a sugar rush but you can get a little buzz to accompany it.

A few more moments and it was up to inspect my Hotel Muse suite. The room was unique to anything that I’ve stayed in recently. Lots of dark patterns throughout. The view was great in both the living room and the bedroom. There has been a great trend of bathtubs with windows into the bedroom which is a feature I really enjoy. The staff were so kind to leave me a teddy bear and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! However, as you know, I travel quite light so I wasn’t able to bring them with me. Sad face.

After taking a look around the room, it was on to checking out the facilities. The pool and gym were just one floor away. The way it was all put together was really quite nice with flowers surrounding the pool and seating areas. The fitness area is on the smaller side yet they still have plenty of high quality equipment. Perfect place to get huge!

The suite at Hotel Muse had access to a tapas and cocktail hour from 4:30pm-6:30pm on the ground floor. They had a few items which I really enjoyed and a decent selection of cocktails to choose from. The bar in which this takes place is quite cozy.

We went for a dinner at their amazing Italian restaurant which you will be able to read about in a separate article. After dinner, we headed up to the rooftop bar called The Speakeasy for nothing less than a magical end to the evening. I’m a huge fan of rooftop bars and this one is truly spectacular. The relaxing breeze accompanied by a great cocktail and good company is hard to beat.

When we returned from the rooftop, they had delivered even more treats to the room! These included numerous candies, nuts and fruit. How thoughtful. It was then time for a relaxing bath in the wonderful tub and off to dreamland!

The next morning I woke up excited to eat! The breakfast had a mammoth offering of both local and western options. I was happy to find Thai fried noodles, also known as Pad Si Yoo on the buffet. We also put an order in for some tasty French toast. Breakfast was amazing and the dining room had a great view of the city.

This was a very quick stay and before I knew it, we were being whisked away in their BMW 5 series to the airport. All in all, it was a flawless experience and it definitely beat all expectations I had. The dinner at their Medici Italian restaurant was amazing and I truly enjoyed it. From the reception staff to the maids to the driver, everyone was great! I would not hesitate to recommend you to stay at the Muse hotel in Bangkok, Thailand!
