Long hours working on the computer and lots of time spent at the gym make for some very tight muscles. During my stay at the Amari Watergate Hotel, which you can read about in a separate article, I had the pleasure of trying out their Breeze Spa, located next to the pool.
The experience began with a welcome drink that changed colors from blue to purple. We were given the standard spa questionnaire, then introduced to our therapists, before being led down a stylish corridor to the treatment rooms. The treatment rooms were lovely and quite comfortable. The therapists were very professional and had bubbly personalities.
The spa offers all the standard massage options but we were recommended the mood massages, which had several types to choose from. I went with the deep tissue version which helped to loosen up my incredibly tight shoulders and back. Personally, I prefer this style of deep tissue massage with oil, over a traditional Thai massage. After an hour I was feeling blissful.
The Vanilla Bourbon flavored tea and cookie were a superb finish to this lovely afternoon.
The Breeze Spa inside the Amari Watergate Hotel has a lot going for it. The design is welcoming and attractive, the staff are warm and truly experts in their craft. I would absolutely recommend you to go for a treatment at the Breeze Spa inside the Amari Watergate hotel in Bangkok, Thailand!
