I returned to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam with my eyes set on exploring all of the ins and outs. Saigon is jam-packed full of amazing food and beverage outlets. Most recently, I’ve taken a deeper dive into the L’Usine restaurants. The brand has three locations around Saigon to check out!

My first visit included a breakfast at their Dong Khoi branch. The venue is located up one floor from the street. You have to sneak through an alley way and up a staircase to find it. Mixing contemporary styling and also selling merchandise make these cafes very unique venues. Of course, I had to start with a hot Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Something about Vietnamese coffee always puts me in a good mood! Wink.

L’Usine really focuses a lot on their breakfast menu, but has a ton more options as well. For breakfast we went with the English breakfast and the eggs benedict with salmon. Out of all the items I’ve tried, including the lunch, the eggs benedict was my absolute favorite! Mouthwatering.

After the breakfast was complete, a few days later we moved on to the Thanh Ton location, just a stones throw away. L’Usine Thanh Ton is their flagship location with many levels giving us lots of seating choices. Just like the Dong Khoi branch, there was a lot of merchandise being sold inside as well as a very lovely interior design. For lunch we went with a plethora of items to give the menu a full once over. Some items we ordered were a cold cuts platter, a spinach pie, pulled pork sandwich and once again the eggs benedict, because I love it so much! The restaurant also features a large variety of wines to make sure you fully enjoy your self.

Once we worked our way through all of the food, it was time for dessert and decided to go with the cheesecake as well as the red velvet cake. Not overwhelmingly sweet, the red velvet cake was just perfect and hit the spot.

Both L’Usine locations were very busy, showing that I’m not the only one that enjoys this brand. They obviously do a great job at bringing back customers. The staff were very personable and offered great service throughout the visit. Without a doubt, if you enjoy great food, pleasant service and great atmosphere, I would recommend you to visit one of the L’Usine locations in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam!
