On my most recent stay in Bangkok, Thailand I stayed at the Marriott on Sukhumvit road near Thong Lo BTS station. This is actually my old neighborhood, I spent about 2 1/2 years living just around the corner from this property.

After check-in I went up to the 27th floor to check out my room. The room was not massive but had a quality interior with a sofa and a nice desk. Separating the bedroom and the bathroom is a large sliding door. Inside the bathroom you will find a fairly sizable bathtub located right next to the shower.
The view from my room was a nice and aimed me towards the center of the city.
A very notable feature of this property would have to be the rooftop bar. It’s called Octave and offers a glorious view of the city. I used to frequent this bar and now I’m back as a hotel guest.
The hotel also features a rooftop pool and fitness area on the seventh floor. The gym is on the medium to small side and offers several cardio machines as well as free weights and weight machines.
My favorite part about the stay at the Marriott on Sukhumvit was the breakfast! The breakfast takes place on the ground floor and is quite extensive. Most notable for me was the Indian food. They had a few Indian dishes that I absolutely loved. Tasty!
My stay at the Marriott Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok, Thailand was very smooth. The hotel gets straight to the point and offers a fairly hands-off experience. It’s convenient location is good and over all a solid hotel.
