The Park Hyatt in Bangkok has been one of the most highly anticipated hotels in Asia. On my recent trip to Thailand, I was incredibly excited that I was going to stay for two nights at the Park Hyatt. The property is on top of the Central Embassy luxury shopping mall. For those of you that know Bangkok, you know that this is an incredibly convenient location. The hotel is even connected by footbridge to the Phloen Chit BTS station. Perfect!

The hotel lobby is located on the 10th floor of the building. The feeling reminded me of the Andaz hotel in Tokyo. A very modern look, full of high-quality. Once my check-in process was complete, a friendly receptionist took me up to the 14th floor to explore my room.
Just like the lobby, the room was incredibly gorgeous with contemporary artwork. Above the bedside tables were Thai style art which helped remind me where I was. There is a large walk-in closet, electronic curtains and one of the most gorgeous and comfortable beds I’ve slept in recently. There is also a lovely station for making tea and coffee.
The bathroom’s lighting alone makes me giddy. To top off the incredible lighting, there is a lotus flower carved into the rock, which just blew me away. The room is exactly the style I love, minimal with great lighting and modern style.
To explore the rest of the property, I headed over to the rooftop pool. The pool is located on the ninth floor and is an infinity pool that is quite long. Just next to the pool are the Living Room and Embassy Room where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pro tip: get a burger in the Living Room!
Just above you will find the fitness center and spa. This gym is impressive. Not only does it have all of the equipment that you could ever want, it’s also brand-new and incredibly stylish. The gym looks over the pool and the city.
When properties go above and beyond the competition, Pierre notices. The Park Hyatt really knocked it out of the park in the changing rooms. There you’ll find a gorgeous mood lit steam room, hot tub and more. What impressed me was there choice of high-end grooming products. I don’t often see this, even in other luxury hotels.
The property features 4 food and beverage outlets. They even have a sort of hidden whiskey bar with an intimate and private setting which I am now a huge fan of. You can read all about their Penthouse Bar and Grill in a separate article.
At the Living Room and Embassy Room you can enjoy a breakfast buffet as well as an à la carte menu. All of the items I tried were very tasty. I love that they had three types of mustard, well done.
All in all, my stay at the Park Hyatt was incredible! I truly enjoyed the quality of service and also the beauty of this property. Everything is gorgeous and functions flawlessly. The facilities are all breathtaking and overall offers a very complete package. I’ve visited nearly all of the luxury hotels in Bangkok and the Park Hyatt has jumped to my top 3 properties. I have no doubt in my mind that you will enjoy a stay as I did and can highly-recommend you to go as soon as possible!
