My second ever Pullman hotel property was the Pullman G in Bangkok’s Silom area. The hotel has been around for about 20 years and I even remember visiting the bar years ago when I lived in Bangkok. I’ve of course written about my dinner experience at their Scarlett rooftop restaurant in a separate article. The hotel is a few stones throw away from the Chong Nonsi BTS station. After arrival, I headed up to the executive lounge to get a VIP check in.

After checking in and consuming a lovely welcome drink in a light bulb, I headed to the 23rd floor to check out my white room. I’ve only stayed in one similar room in my life. Practically everything in the room was white. I must say I loved this artistic statement. It was an absolutely gorgeous room with large floor to ceiling windows that offered a great view of the city below. Thanks for the welcome treat!
The room had a teakettle, a decent amount of storage space and a large bathroom with full bathtub and shower.
Moving down a few floors you will find the gym and pool on the fifth floor. The gym is on the smaller side offering two elliptical machines and one treadmill. However, there are enough free weights and other weight machines to make sure you stay your strongest.
After a relaxing day, I went to sleep anticipating my breakfast in the hotel’s executive lounge the next morning. I was pleased to see that the lounge offered a variety of international food options on an à la carte menu. My eating has caught up with me a bit lately, so I decided to go with the Japanese breakfast to stay on the lighter side. The salmon and miso soup were very tasty. There is a small buffet in the lounge as well to accompany your à la carte option.
The executive lounge of course offers afternoon tea and evening cocktails in addition to the international breakfast. I definitely enjoyed these amenities and I would recommend them to you as well! My only criticism of the lounge is that it was a bit warm.
I must say that overall, I love the contemporary design of this hotel. They plan to renovated their club rooms soon, so I’m already planning a return trip! The service throughout my stay was wonderful and I must say that I really enjoyed the views from this Pullman property. When it was all said and done, I had a lovely stay at the Pullman G hotel in the Silom area of Bangkok, Thailand.
