I have been a fan of the IHG brand for some time, mostly because I’ve stayed at so many Intercontinental hotels. I had actually just stayed at the Intercontinental Bangkok before I went to another IHG property, Hotel Indigo. The property is fairly centrally located and has a lot of high quality features to take note of. The property is located about a 10 minute walk from the nearest BTS skytrain station which is Phloen Chit. When you first enter, you’ll notice a very modern and creative interior. After checking in, I went up to my room on the 14th floor.

I first noticed the beautiful views that my room had. The styling was very colorful and even though contrasting, it still flowed together. This is definitely a nice change-up from the typical luxury hotels I normally visit. I had a corner room.
The hotel has a few food and beverage outlets for you to take advantage of. The breakfast takes place on the second floor in their Metro Wireless restaurant. The dining room was quite comfortable and aesthetically appealing. There is a page of à la carte options to choose from, as well as a moderately sized buffet. I must say that the breakfast tasted great and I really enjoyed the setting.
You can find Hotel Indigo’s gym on the 24th floor which is the same floor as the pool. Both the pool and the gym offer fantastic views of Bangkok. I must say that this was just a fantastic area to spend some time. The gym is moderately sized but offers lots of high-end equipment.
My favorite parts of the Hotel Indigo in Bangkok would have to be the styling, food and location. This property features lots of high quality components, a gorgeous style and a fairly central location. The service throughout my stay was wonderful and overall I must say I enjoyed my time at the Hotel Indigo in Bangkok, Thailand!
