Every once in a while I get completely surprised by a meal. The most magical meal I’ve had recently was at the Silver Waves restaurant at the top of the Chatrium Riverside hotel. I stayed at the properties so you can read about the hotel in a separate article. The restaurant is located on 36th floor, the same floor as the hotel’s club lounge. The views from the dining room are simply extraordinary.

After enjoying a drink in the club lounge, I headed over to my table at the restaurant. I invited a friend along to join on this culinary adventure. So far so good, the staff prepared a set menu to try all of the best items at the restaurant. Actually everything we ate was extraordinary.

Every single item just blew me away. There was a perfectly crispy deep-fried fish, succulent stir-fried scallops cooked to perfection and more.

The amazing food accompanying the city and river view is very hard to beat. For dessert there was a mango pudding of sorts, which was light and a lovely way to finish off the evening.

This restaurant has been around for a while but to me really feels like an undiscovered diamond in the rough. I am so happy that I discovered the Chatrium Riverside hotel and restaurant and I would highly recommend you to enjoy a dinner at Silver Waves as well. There’s so much to offer from the view to the food to the great service that I’m sure you will enjoy it like I did!
