Just when I thought I had already enjoyed some top of the line spas in Bangkok, I went and had another that has scored highly on my list. While staying at the Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, which you should read about in a separate article, I visited their Spa Botanica.
Entering the spa I noticed right away a beautifully cohesive lobby with a very pleasant staff. We were served a welcome drink and cold towel before heading upstairs to the treatment rooms.
We went with 90 minutes of Swedish massage, for a soothing and relaxing experience. I was a bit sore so I went for a lighter touch, which turned out to be magnificent. The treatment room was absolutely gorgeous. The room had a large bathtub, comfortable treatment tables, a steam shower and a bathroom. The treatment was great and the massage was well deserved. The music was a bit repetitive, but perhaps I’m the only one that will notice.
To finish we were served banana chips and hot tea in the lobby. Our therapists were very nice and gracious during the treatment. I absolutely adored the design of this incredible spa and can completely recommend you to visit Spa Botanica at The Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
