While in Dubai, I stayed at the Vida Downtown Hotel. The Vida Downtown is located in the thick of the action when it comes to the center of the bustling metropolis of Dubai. The property is just a stones throw away from major attractions such as the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Incredibly convenient.

It all started with a welcome drink in the Vida Downtown’s gorgeous lobby. The separated reception desks bring a very modern and relaxed atmosphere to the lobby compared to a large single counter. Beautifully designed furniture and lovely flower arrangements make this a comfortable place to be. After a quick chat with the reception staff, it was time to see my room!
My room was on the sixth floor, which is the top floor of the Vida Downtown Hotel Dubai. From my window there was a pleasant city view. The room was modest in size but the layout satisfied me completely. The room definitely offered both fashion and function, my inner minimalist was beaming with joy. I was impressed by how comfortable the lounge chair was.
The bathroom of this room also packed a punch for its size. Small but comfortable and of high quality. There was a shower stall, bathtub and separated toilet stall.
In the closet is a coffee and tea station and refrigerator. I truly enjoyed that the TV doubled as a control center for room service.
During the stay at Vida Downtown Dubai we ordered room service on one occasion. We tried pizza, a shawarma sandwich and a mezze platter. Everything was quite delicious and delivered quickly. I’d recommend the shawarma sandwich!
The gym was also located on the sixth floor, just down the hallway from my room. The gym was separated into three rooms with free-weights, cardio machines and weight machines. Much like the rooms, this was smaller in size but well-designed. Completely sufficient for a great workout.
During my stay at the Vida Downtown Hotel I had the pleasure of eating at their 3in1 Restaurant. 3in1 is their all day dining restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic, with both an extensive à la carte menu as well as small buffet. I’d recommend combining a Turkish coffee with dates!
I had a chance to meet the lovely Chef Ian Mancais as he is currently revamping the menu with truly inspired dishes that will blow your mind with all of the bold flavors. The new menu was so great that I’ve written about it in a separate article!
The pool is located just outside the 3in1 Restaurant. When I walked around the pool, I felt like I was on a Hollywood movie set with its beautiful poolside cabanas.
The Vida Downtown Dubai Hotel is modern, conveniently located, high quality, has great food and appealing on the eyes. It’s a smaller property, but packs a serious punch in all regards. All in all, I would highly recommend a stay at the Vida Downtown Dubai Hotel.
