I’ve had tons of spa treatments as a professional travel blogger. A small minority of the spas I visit are truly exceptional. One of these mindbogglingly good spa experiences was during a recent stay at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa which you must read about!

We were of course greeted with a smile and welcome drink. This was no ordinary welcome drink, this was coconut with pepper, something very unique indeed. The first thing you’ll notice is how serene the spa is in its design. A large pool is just next to the lobby, which we walked past to get to the treatment villas. I tried their signature Sehathu massage.

The treatment villas were equipped with an outdoor jacuzzi, multiple seating areas and amazingly comfortable massage tables. The treatment tables could easily have been normal mattresses. Therapists were from all over the world and true professionals in their craft. With every long stroke, I slipped deeper into relaxation, even drifting off to sleep for 5-10 minutes. It’s like the therapist could see into my body, and knew exactly which places held the most tension. This massage blew my mind!

Sadly the massage was soon over after 60 minutes and then we were served a hot lemongrass tea to finish. I love lemongrass. From beginning to end, this was a flawless spa treatment. Visiting the Vidhun Spa at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is a no-brainer. There is nothing I can complain about because it was all perfect.
