Best Dinner Buffet in Bangkok: Praya Kitchen Review

Last updated on July 10th, 2025

While staying at the brand-new Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse I had a chance to have a dinner at their Praya Kitchen Restaurant. Read about the hotel here. For this occasion, and every evening, there was a very extensive buffet!

The dining room is vast with an amazing amount of options mostly focused on seafood. This was clearly a Thai Cuisine oriented dinner, but there were some western options including pasta and cold cuts.

The dessert display was tremendous with both local Thai desserts and foreign desserts. I loved the selection of local Thai desserts, my personal favorite is Lod Chong (ลอดช่อง.) More options than I could ever consume! This evening was all about abundance. For someone that is new to Thailand this would be a great place to be introduced to Thai cuisine.

Throughout the evening, the staff were very courteous and always there to pick up dishes or to answer questions when needed. Whether it’s the attentive staff, massive selection of food, or beautiful design of the dining room, Praya Kitchen has it all!
