Where do I even begin? I knew this trip to Geneva would be amazing, but I didn’t know it would be this good. I arrived at La Reserve after finding my car at the airport.

Driving up to the hotel made me feel like I was arriving at a private residence. This is quite the compound. Definitely an extremely luxurious feeling.
It was like walking through a maze to get to the room, but I’m glad I made it. La Reserve property is located right on Lake Geneva. The vibe I got throughout the hotel is that of a lake cottage which is makes sense. Walking into my room I felt like I was walking into my living room! Right at home!
I reserved a huge suite at La Reserve which knocked my socks off! Notice the wordplay. On the coffee table, they had a cake and an expensive bottle of champagne waiting for me. How thoughtful! They sure know how to please Pierre at La Reserve.
The bathroom was exceptional as well. It had a massive bathtub where you could fit at least 20 people. Party time. Alright, I’m exaggerating, but still it was huge and beautiful.
I didn’t have much time for the stay so I wanted to explore the property as much as possible. The next area I explored was their fitness, pool and spa/relaxation area. Along with this indoor pool they also have an outdoor pool. The gym is large and has all the equipment you could ever need in a very visually appealing area coupled with an amazing gym attendant. Perfection folks, perfection.
They have a few restaurants where you can eat your meals. Two of the restaurants are quite popular and highly ranked. When I heard they had a fantastic Chinese restaurant I had to give it a shot. You can read about The Tse Fung in a separate article!
The next morning I had breakfast on the terrace and luckily the weather was perfect. They have a beautiful selection on the buffet as well as the option to order some items from the kitchen. I’m trying to clean up my diet a little bit so I ordered an egg white omelette which was quite tasty. As a matter of fact, everything was delicious. The staff was also very attentive.
Not long after breakfast and it was time to leave the hotel. The hotel is slightly north of Geneva’s center in Bellevue so I was curious how I would get to the city. Turns out they have an absolutely gorgeous, inclusive boat shuttle which will bring you straight to the city center. How convenient!
My stay at La Reserve was short but magical. Seriously. I would love to revisit in the near future. The service was fantastic, the design beautiful, location breathtaking and facilities were perfect among many other things. This is one of those places that I’m confident you will enjoy regardless of who you are. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend that you visit La Reserve in Geneva, Switzerland.
