What a magnificent way to end my time in Geneva, Switzerland. While there, I stayed at Le Richemond hotel which is part of the Dorchester Collection.

The hotel is right in the middle of Geneva. It’s along the lake and just a perfect location.
I arrived in the early afternoon and made a quick check-in after meeting the staff at the reception. Le Richemond staff informed me that I had an upgraded room on the fifth floor. How kind! The staff escorted me up after checking in and the suspense was building. Finally, we reached my room. The styling was classy, yet quite modern.
The first thing I noticed was the welcome gift on the coffee table. Normally, these tend to be about the same but this was something extra special. This time, there was a cake enclosed in a sphere of chocolate with chocolate balls fixed to the outside of the sphere. Oh Lord have mercy! What an artistic creation. Absolutely beautiful, my hat is off to the creator. Well done!
I talk a lot about different bedding at the various hotels I visit. This was definitely above average. I sunk into these pillows and sheets like quicksand. That’s a good thing folks, it was very soft and comfortable. Not too hard or too soft, just right.
I’m always super excited to see the facilities at every hotel I visit, so I headed down to check out the spa and fitness areas. The gym was very well equipped. Along with having the regular workout equipment, they also had tons of CrossFit equipment. The spa area was superb as well. They have a magnificent sauna and steam room accompanied with a relaxation area. I definitely took advantage of it during my stay!
There were a few times during my stay where I really got to enjoy some fantastic views from my window. The evening and morning offered some of the most beautiful and colorful skies.
After retiring for the evening and getting a fantastic night of sleep, it was time to go down to the restaurant and investigate the breakfast offering. The dining room is very classic and elegant which offers a different feel than the room. One of the first features I noticed was the chocolate fountain. Normally, you only see these at brunch service but this was at their breakfast which is quite notable.
I ordered an omelette with cheese and then selected some items from the buffet. Not a super large selection but full of quality items that I really enjoyed. For example, the fruit salad was just out-of-control! Health!
Only a few hours after and it was time to move onto the next city. I have to say I really enjoyed my stay in Geneva and I plan to return shortly. My time at Le Richemond was definitely fantastic. They really have an offering that is jam-packed with quality. I truly enjoyed the entire experience and would highly recommend that you visit the Le Richemond hotel next time you are in Geneva, Switzerland!
