During my first visit to Brazil, I visited both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. After spending a month in Rio de Janeiro, I took an hour long flight to visit São Paulo. Then, from the Sao Paulo GRU Airport to my hotel it took another hour by car. My first accommodation in the city was the Marriott Executive Apartments located in Vila Nova Conceicao, which is an upscale area with lots of convenience. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a doorman who kindly assisted with my luggage and directed me to the reception just inside the lobby.

The lobby of the Marriott Executive Apartments was spacious and delightful. The staff at the reception were also very lovely, warm, and made me feel right at home. After my smooth check-in process, I made it up to the fourth floor of the property to check out my one-room apartment.
When I entered my one-room apartment, I first walked into a very warm and welcoming living room. The apartment was equipped with a comfortable sofa, television, lounge chair, coffee table, working desk, large balcony, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen had nearly everything needed to live for extended periods including full refrigerator, stove, pots and pans, cookware, utensils, and more.
The bedroom was in the same clean business style as the rest of the apartment and contained a large bed with the delightful Marriott bedding which I always love. Inside the bedroom, there was a large closet with plenty of storage space, television, and large window.
The apartment’s bathroom featured a combined bathtub and shower stall, single sink vanity, and the Marriott toiletries that I have come accustomed to. In the shower, there was also a retractable drying line perfect for doing laundry on the go. Please note that his apartment did not have a laundry machine.
The major facilities and features of the Marriott Executive Apartments are the Quench Restaurant, meeting rooms, business station, outdoor pool, fitness center, convenience store, and ATM. The medium-sized gym faces the pool which is a long lap pool which is gorgeous. Inside the fitness center, there are several machines for cardio, weight machines, and free weights. Everything was present in order for a great workout. During my stay the fitness center was available but had to be scheduled for use because of the pandemic.
The Quench Restaurant which serves breakfast is located on the ground floor of the Marriott Executive Apartments. The breakfast is organized in a buffet format but it is also possible to get eggs to order. Overall, the food tasted good, but was fairly limited in the selection to the necessities.
The Marriott Executive Apartments in São Paulo really felt like home during my short stay. The staff were very warm, including the lovely general manager who I got to have a great chat with. The property is filled with quality and great for extended stays in São Paulo, Brazil. If extended home-like accommodation is what you’re looking for, be sure to check out the Marriott Executive Apartments!
