My final hotel stay during my first trip to Berlin was at the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm Hotel. The property is located on the west side of the city. Kurfürstendamm is one of the most famous avenues in Berlin and can be considered the Champs-Élysées of Berlin. The avenue is lined with lots of shops, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment options. Upon entering Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm I was greeted by friendly faces and my excitement was building to see the room!

My Luxury Room was incredibly spacious and feature rich. The first feature I noticed was the creative location of the closet, which was a wooden column near the entryway. The room was lined with tall windows offering great views of Berlin. The Luxury Room featured a king-size bed, flat screen TV on a swivel, sofa, comfortable desk and chair, capsule coffee machine, kettle, and a modern Bose stereo with Bluetooth. Overall, I loved the design of the room and all of its features!
Inside the bathroom there was a double sink vanity, large bathtub, shower stall, separated toilet stall, and of course, Hermes toiletries. The staff even gifted me a 300 ml bottle of Hermes hand and body cleansing gel! Thank you very much Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm Hotel.
Chocolate on the bedside table during turn-down service for the win!
Also, thank you Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm for the sweets and strawberries! They were incredible, seriously.
My Luxury Room was on the VIP club floor with access to the Sofitel Club Lounge. The Sofitel Club Lounge serves a continental breakfast, afternoon tea with sweets, as well as evening alcoholic drinks and a modest selection of canapes. Just like my room, I was very impressed with the views from the Club Lounge as well as the service.
There was a main hotel breakfast located on the 1st floor to consider as well. As with most hotels, the main breakfast had a much larger selection but that ambiance wasn’t as good the club lounge. It will ultimately come down to which feature guests prioritize.
Speaking of food and beverage, during my stay I also enjoyed a dinner at Restaurant Le Faubourg, which blew my mind. I was very impressed with the food and actually wrote an additional article showcasing Restaurant Le Faubourge, which you can read here.
On second floor of the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm Hotel were the fitness and relaxation facilities. Inside there were a sizable fitness center, steam room, and sauna. The fitness equipment is all modern and the steam and sauna are for both men and women. I definitely enjoyed the steam room!
Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm is one of the best hotels in Berlin! Its location on the west side of the city offers great convenience and the hotel offers several notable features with a great level of service. It is a classic property which I believe will stand the test of time for years to come. If you’re looking for a full-featured hotel in Berlin, visit the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm Hotel.
