After having such a remarkable stay at The St. Regis Hotel in Singapore, I was incredibly eager to visit St. Regis Bangkok. The St. Regis Bangkok is connected to Ratchadamri BTS station by footbridge. This is only one station from Siam and one station from Silom, which obviously makes it an ideal location! It’s also overlooking the grounds of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, which has a golf course and horse racing track right in the center of the city.

When we arrived at The St. Regis Bangkok, the staff were quick at collecting our luggage from the car and whisking us up to the 12th floor reception desk. The lobby on the ground floor and 12th floor were both lovely, and featured lots of flowers. The welcoming fragrance couldn’t be ignored and was very inviting.

The St. Regis Deluxe Room fit together in a very cohesive manner, and offered fantastic views of the golf course and the rest of Bangkok. The Deluxe Room had ample storage space near the front entrance, perfect for an extended stay. The capsule coffee machine was much appreciated. However, your personal butler can also deliver tea or coffee to you at any time free of charge!

The bathroom of this St. Regis Deluxe Room offered a sizable bath tub, partitioned shower, separate sinks and variety of quality toiletries.

The St. Regis brand stands out because of its impeccable service. Our butler offered a personalized touch to the experience by engaging us in pleasant conversations, but it wasn’t at all overbearing. Throughout our visit, we received local Thai foods including sweets and an impressive tray of fruit. One evening the staff prepared mango sticky rice and coconuts branded with The St. Regis logo while we were away for dinner. That’s service!

Another story to share, while we were working in the room, the maids were cleaning and one noticed my laptop, and offered a complimentary St. Regis cleaning cloth that I could keep. The little touches like this go a long way in my book!

Not only does this St. Regis have incredible service and rooms, but the facilities are top-notch. There are two large relaxation areas located in the spa equipped with steam rooms, jacuzzi, rain showers and comfortable lounging areas. The relaxation capsules were something special! I visited at least once a day for the duration of the stay. I was impressed by the quantity of toiletries available in the changing rooms as well, no need to ask for something extra at The St. Regis.

On the same floor as the spa you can find a pool, bar and gym. The pool of course has an incredible view of Bangkok. It was a great place to catch the sunset. The gym is absolutely massive! There are a dozen pieces of cardio equipment, tons of weight machines, all sizes of free weights and more specialized workout equipment. The St. Regis gym had it all!

During this stay we had a chance to experience The St. Regis afternoon tea on the 12th floor. As you could imagine, the tea room also offered impeccable views. A great place indeed for enjoying the afternoon with some treats!

The St. Regis breakfast can be found on the 12th floor. The à la carte breakfast menu was very interesting including unique dishes like the Prawn Macaroni and Cheese. There were also a wide variety of items on the buffet which had an open kitchen design. I enjoyed all that I ate!

The St. Regis Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand really stood out to me! After visiting a majority of the city’s luxury hotels, I can safely say that The St. Regis is easily in the top 5%. The incredible service throughout the stay, including the quality butler service push this property ahead of many. The facilities were astonishing and even without a club lounge, I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. The location is perfect. When it’s all said and done, The St. Regis in Bangkok, Thailand is a must visit!
