You know Pierre is creative don’t you? You know that he loves great design don’t you? That is exactly why Pierre enjoyed his stay so immensely at the Flemings Mayfair hotel in London.

This luxurious boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. From the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was walking into a masterpiece. I’ve stayed at all the big-name hotels and they don’t vary too much so it’s definitely nice to visit something so uniquely beautiful!
Even the lobby of the hotel offers a magnificent style and refreshments for your convenience. The refreshments I’m talking about are coffee and snacks that you have access to all day. These are not low-quality snacks, these are the same high-quality offerings that they have in their afternoon tea! Did I say afternoon tea? You’ll have to read about that in another article!
The hotel has so many beautifully designed rooms and no two are exactly alike. The styling of my suite is a bit of old mixed with new. For example, on the nightstand there is a bluetooth radio/speaker that resembles a radio from 50 years ago. How interesting!
Then we walk into the bathroom. It’s very clean and glorious. A very modern design with beautiful lighting throughout. It’s not just beautiful, it also functions fantastically. I love the shower head. Pro tip: While you take a bath turn on the shower to make it feel like you’re in a tropical oasis. Thank me later!
Back in the bedroom there is a large sofa which is very comfortable and artwork from local artists on the walls. Tucked away in the cabinet is my private espresso machine and tea kettle with a great assortment of coffee and tea that I definitely took advantage of while getting some Pierre work done.
My trip to London was jam-packed with amazing restaurants so after checking into the hotel it was off to explore the city and have a fantastic dinner. Too bad I didn’t have time to hit the gym! They do have a gym that is on the smaller size but adequate for staying fit!
The next morning it was time to do what keeps Pierre motivated to keep writing, eat breakfast! This is definitely one of the best English breakfasts I’ve ever had! The sausage will stick in my memory. Just perfect. We also ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon which taste just as good as they look.
I really love how this hotel goes above and beyond what most other hotels are doing. I’m sure some people don’t mind staying at the run-of-the-mill hotels but if you want to take it up a notch and really put yourself in an innovative, luxurious and just fantastic environment I would definitely recommend that you stay at the Flemings Mayfair hotel in London!
