As you all surely know by now, Pierre is a huge fan of Vienna, especially of the hotels. On my latest trip to this fine city, I visited the Grand Hotel Wien. During this visit, Vienna was also the location for my recent video and photo shoot. You will definitely have to stay tuned!

Grand Hotel Wien Review (Vienna, Austria)

I must say that walking into the Grand Hotel Wien gives you a super luxurious feeling. It’s very elegant and classic with a beautiful bar to your right and the reception to your left. The hotel was relatively full during my stay but I was able to secure a room on the third floor.

Just as the styling of the lobby is classic and elegant, so are the rooms. This is really a personal preference, but I absolutely love patterns of the classic variety. These can be found throughout the room on the headboard, the furniture, the drapes and so on.

Moving into the bathroom we continue this beautiful styling. However, what I really liked in the bathroom were the gold fixtures. Everything is accented with beautiful gold. If you want to feel like a boss, this is where you should stay.Grand Hotel Wien Review (Vienna, Austria)

Lately, I’ve been working really hard to get super ripped so I spent a fair share of my time in the Grand Hotel’s gym. They have a wide range of workout equipment which was just perfect for getting my swell on. Brand-new treadmills with built-in TVs were definitely a huge plus. The gym and spa area also have a sauna and steam room. At this hotel, you really need to be careful about the time of use because they are not open all day and this was a minor setback.

In a very luxurious hotel such as this I always get extra excited for breakfast. Breakfast includes both à la carte and buffet items. They have all of your favorite hot dishes. What’s great about breakfast is their buffet has a very wide range of international dishes and I mean extra-wide. They pay extra close attention to their Japanese and Middle Eastern guests with items like hummus, miso soup and a variety of other dishes from wide-ranging regions.

When it was all said and done, the stay was quite nice. You’ll definitely have to read about the Le Ciel restaurant on the hotel’s top floor, which serves some fantastic food in my separate article. There were a few bumps along the road but solid overall. The food was quite nice as well as the service. I truly enjoyed their luxury style and the Grand Hotel Wien is definitely one to consider on your next trip to Vienna!
