Vienna has had a very warm place in my heart ever since my first visit last year. This time around, I added some amazing experiences and increased my love for this beautiful city! I was able to pay a visit to the Marriott hotel and it’s located on the ring street. It’s very convenient to travel to and from all regions of Vienna. A majority of the hotels that are fabulous are located along this street. Wink.

Marriott is one of those brands where I always seem to enjoy the customer service. It strikes me that the training must be very good because regardless of which country I go, this hotel is always on-point. After checking, in I went up to check out my room that was recently renovated. Walking in, you can smell the freshness! What a beautiful feeling. The style of the room is very visually appealing. They have used lots of greens and blues which pair quite nicely along with some wood accent pieces that provide a very luxurious and calm vibe.
As any travelers that frequent Marriott hotels will tell you, the bedding is always amazing. I plan to get this bedding in my future home. I swear it’s like sleeping on a cloud, if not better! This might be one of the best features of the Marriott hotel brand.
I arrived in the middle of the afternoon and was able to get some work done in my room. Then the happy hour began in the executive lounge. I had to go up to check it out! The food in this lounge was definitely setup for a full dinner. This is a huge plus, especially if you’re not interested in leaving the hotel. Maybe you just want to relax after a long day. Either way, how convenient.
After going out for a nice dinner, it was time to retire into the magical Marriott bedding. The next morning, I awoke eager to test the breakfast selection. The first morning I decided to eat breakfast in the executive lounge. You don’t get as large of a selection in the lounge as the main breakfast, but you do get some quality food. What I noticed, that was extra special, was how ripe the fruit was. Every single bite of fruit was bursting with flavor and perfectly ripe. Tasty. The next day, I decided to have breakfast in the main breakfast area which has a wider selection and also amazing quality. Both were great!
The staff were all amazing. They brought me treats throughout my stay, including some Austrian Manner brand wafers, champagne and of course, fruit and candy. If you want me to like you, give me treats. Wink. During my stay, I also had a chance to eat at their Garten Café which turned out to have some amazing and authentic Austrian food!
I must say that I truly enjoyed my time at the Marriott in Vienna. Between the amazing staff, the wonderful food, the lounge and the design, I just felt fantastic. As I said, I’m looking forward to in the hotel renovations are complete and to visit again but for now I greatly enjoyed my time and highly recommend you to stay at the Marriott in Vienna!
