You know how I always say that I want to live in a hotel one day? Well at the last hotel I visited, it’s possible! I’m talking about the Hansar Hotel and Residence in the center of Bangkok, Thailand.

Hansar is very near Ratchadamri BTS station, only a few hundred meters. This makes it one of the most centrally located hotels in the entire city. Upon arrival, I went up one floor to check-in. The reception is also connected to their business lounge. Both areas are quite beautiful. Lots of wood has been used in the design and it really offers a luxurious and warm feeling.
I secured my room and headed up to check it out. The design of the room blew me away! I don’t normally get this excited, but this was something truly unique. They’ve incorporated a greenhouse into the room. It’s basically a separate column that runs down the hotel and is filled with plants. How amazing!
The next amazing feature that the room had was the all-inclusive minibar. They had some of the best snacks and beverages that I have seen in a while. Also, they offered coffee from Elefin. This wasn’t just normal coffee folks this was fresh coffee prepared for a pour-over brew. This had to be some of the best coffee I’ve had at a hotel. Seriously, it’s the little things that really make me happy. Other properties should take note!
As I mentioned earlier, this property is a residence as well. Therefore, the hotel and the residence share a gym and pool area. Basically, they took a huge chunk out of the side of the building and installed a pool. It’s absolutely gorgeous and includes a very well stocked gym along with a steam room and sauna. I would really enjoy living here, especially when the snacks are included. Wink.
Considering all this, I really was at a loss for what to expect the next morning at breakfast. To my astonishment, I was absolutely blown away at breakfast. They offer a ginormous selection of authentic Thai food as well as western dishes. You can choose to order off the menu or go with many options on the buffet. The part about breakfast that was very cool were the Thai sweets. Yes, you can get them all over Thailand but I have not seen this large of a selection at a hotel before now!
I hope you really understand how enthusiastic I am about this property. The design, the food, the service and the location make this an absolutely perfect hotel in Bangkok. This is the type of place where dreams are made folks. The next time you are in Bangkok, Thailand you should definitely stay at the Hansar hotel!
