During my recent trip to Beijing, I was able to stay in some of the finest hotels that the city has to offer. One of these fine hotels was the Rosewood. This is a high-end luxury hotel located not far from the center of the city in the Central Business District. It’s in the center of the action, surrounded by many high-rises. The design of the hotel is quite stylish. It’s very welcoming and feels comfortable. Starting with the lobby, you’ll notice lots of beautiful furniture. The staff was pleasant and quickly checked me in.

My room had a contemporary design with lots of artwork, books and a great view to take-in. The Rosewood staff left me a fantastic mango pastry for my welcome treat. Tasty!
One of my favorite parts of the whole Rosewood property would have to be the spa, pool and gym area. Walking into the spa brings you to another world of relaxation. You’ll walk down the corridor of mood lighting and then across a small bridge into the reception area of the spa. I was able to visit the area three times during my stay and greatly enjoyed myself there. The changing room was simply flawless with all of the products you need to look your best and feel great. I can’t forget to mention I also went for a massage there, you’ll have to read about it in a separate article.
Another fantastic feature of the hotel is there Manner Club on the seventh floor. In most hotels, this would be called the executive lounge. However, the Manner Club is a bit more grand than most executive lounges. Not only is it incredibly large, it offers three different areas according to your preference. When you walk in, it’s the typical lounge feeling, when you move to the next room, you’ll enter a bright area filled daylight. Finally, in the last and final area, there is a dark and mysterious area like a low-lit bar. It’s really quite gorgeous.
The lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea and an evening cocktail hour. During my stay, I was able to eat at both breakfast locations as well as having dinner at their Red Bowl restaurant which is a Chinese hot pot restaurant. The quality of the food is very high and they always had a great selection for all meals.
It was a bit sad when the stay was over. The property felt like home and I really enjoyed my time there. I’d be happy to return on my next trip to Beijing! What really stands out for the property would have to be the food and beverage. There isn’t much to do to improve this hotel, it’s great. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is warm and welcoming with everything you need to live the boss life, then I would recommend you to stay at the Rosewood hotel in Beijing!
