One of my favorite luxury hotel brands in the world is Four Seasons. I have visited them all over the globe including Four Seasons Bangkok, Four Seasons Istanbul Bosphorus, Four Seasons Mexico City, Four Seasons Lisbon, Four Seasons Toronto, Four Seasons Seoul. The common theme with all this properties is consistency in terms of the experience they provide. I figure this must be due to the fact that the Four Seasons standards are so high. Whether it is the quality of the buildings or the service, it’s easy to expect a true luxury experience no matter which Four Seasons property one visits worldwide.
What can I say, I’m a real sucker for a Four Seasons hotel! This is why I was incredibly excited to visit Four Seasons Tunis during my first Tunisia trip.

Arrival
I arrived midday via taxi from across the city. Upon arrival, the bellmen welcomed me by opening the taxi door and taking my luggage out of the trunk and into the hotel. I love when the staff are ready so no guest is stuck waiting. We were off to a good start because everyone was on point for my arrival.
After meeting the reception staff I was told my room would be ready in about 15 minutes. I was offered a welcome drink of my choice on the lobby balcony which I must say had a lovely view.
Hotel Design
Walking around this massive property is simply a nonstop tour of gorgeous spectacles. The architecture reminds me of other Tunisian buildings but with a more luxurious touch. The grounds feature many unique courtyards, a huge outdoor garden with multiple terraces, a beach, multiple pools, tennis courts, and more. This is definitely a full-fledged resort!
Premier Room
To get to my Premier Room I had to walk about five minutes because it was located just next to the sea. The friendly staff took me all the way to my room and gave me a tour of it once we arrived. Luckily another staff member arrived with my luggage just about the same time that we did. Perfect.
The Premier Room Rooms are spacious at 72–85 square meters. The style was modern but incorporated traditional designs of the region. Notable features in the room include an illy capsule coffee machine with a variety of capsules, a kettle with multiple teas, a working desk, modern USB outlets, a comfortable king size bed, two balconies with two different views, multiple seating areas, lots of storage, and an impressive bathroom.
When I first arrived there was one welcome amenity. Then, I left the room for a bit and came back and the first welcome amenity was changed to another holiday themed one. Both were gorgeous and I would have been happy with either. Regardless, thank you Four Seasons for the warm welcome!
I want to stop and say that I absolutely love the Four Seasons slippers. They’re always super comfortable no matter which property I’ve visited worldwide. These were found in the closet where I also found a safe, robes, luggage rack, and various sized complimentary Four Seasons bags.
Master Bathroom
The master bathroom of this Premier Room was very spacious, modern, and elegant. Inside the bathroom notable features included a standalone bathtub, dual-sink vanity, separated shower stall with rain shower, separated toilet stall with phone, heated floors, and L’Occitane toiletries. I won’t forget when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and felt the warm floor. It’s a really nice touch!
Fitness and Relaxation
After arriving in my room, it wasn’t long before I was out and exploring the rest of the facilities of the Four Seasons Tunis. When it comes to fitness and relaxation facilities, the hotel is very well equipped. There are two huge pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a massive fitness center, and a Guerlain Spa.
Not only are all these facilities super well equipped and well staffed, they are also gorgeous. Everything is kept in tip-top condition as there are always staff members nearby. These were some of my favorite areas of the whole hotel and recommend you to enjoy them as well!
Food and Beverage
The Four Seasons Hotel Tunis has several food and beverage outlets to choose from. For my stay, I tried dinner at The Creek Bistro Chic as well as breakfast at Azur Restaurant. There is also a seaside restaurant as well as food and drink available in the lobby.
Azur Restaurant
The breakfast at the Four Seasons Tunis occurs in the Azur Restaurant. Azur is located on the fourth floor and features both indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast was in both a buffet and à la carte format. Combining both the buffet and the à la carte options, there was a wide variety of local and Western breakfast options to choose from. In my expert opinion, I would recommend that you enjoy both simultaneously. I did enjoy everything I ate and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. All in all a great breakfast!
Above and Beyond
They always say it’s the little things that matter the most. The small details tend to make us feel warm and cared for. Four Seasons has really taken note of this and offers small touches that bring them ahead of the competition. For example, the housekeeping staff noticed that I was working on my laptop so they brought me a mat for my laptop, an office chair, and a ring light with a tripod. This was really impressive! In the past at other Four Seasons properties, they’ve wrapped up my charging cables with Four Seasons branded ties, and brought me clothes to clean my glasses as well.
I actually sort of expected it this time and indeed, they did gift me a brand new eye glass cleaning clothe at Four Seasons Tunis as well! Well done FS!
Conclusion
I’m very happy to report that once again, Four Seasons has done it! Four Seasons Tunis offers a consistent luxury experience just like the others that I have visited worldwide. I enjoyed my stay immensely and would be happy to return in a heartbeat. One of the only places where I saw some room for improvement was at the The Creek Bistro Chic. While there, I did enjoy some dishes as well as a great level of service, but some of the dishes could have been better for this level of hotel. That being said, the rest of the property was fantastic and it keeps up the high standards of the Four Seasons brand. Without a doubt, I can highly recommend you to visit Four Seasons Tunis!
