My last stop on my latest trip to Algarve, Portugal was at the Conrad Algarve Resort. The resort is located just 15 km outside of the city of Faro. The surrounding area has lots of activities to offer such as dining, shopping, golf, sights, and entertainment. My father and I arrived at the property early in the afternoon and we were both impressed by the sprawling driveway and lobby.

The driveway is long and makes it feel like you’re driving up to a palace. Once I stepped inside the resort I realized that the lobby was absolutely massive as well. Fit for royalty, I felt like I was home. Wink.
The Conrad Algarve Resort staff were very friendly and showed us to each of our rooms on the fourth floor. My room was massive, as I would have expected. The style was a bright and modern with subtle colored accents. My room featured a king-size bed, lounge chair with ottoman, daybed, tea and coffee station, large working desk, a small kitchen area, huge balcony with a beautiful view, and much more!
Conrad Algarve Resort staff left a large fruit platter and bottle of Laurent-Perrier champagne. How thoughtful! Thank you very much.
The bathroom was just as impressive as the rest of the gorgeous room. Inside there was a double sink vanity, large bath tub with TV, toilet and bidet, separated shower stall, and Shanghai Tang Toiletries. All in all, everything felt like quality.
We were off to a good start with the impressive lobby and lovely guestrooms. Now it was time to explore the rest of the property where I found a lot of goodies. There were several pools, both indoor and outdoor, they all really added to the resort atmosphere. The exterior grounds were immaculately maintained, which made it feel like paradise.
We also need to take note of the Conrad Spa which featured several impressive facilities including a Vitality Pool, steam room, sauna, and refreshment and relaxation room. During the stay I even had a chance to experience a personalized massage which you can read about in a separate article here.
Above the spa was the gym which was incredibly extensive. One of those gyms that had way more than I ever would need!
Breakfast occurs in their Louro Restaurant on the second floor. At breakfast there was a sizable buffet with decent selection of Western food items. The service was notably good during all of my visits to the restaurant. Overall, a tasty breakfast!
During the stay my father and I had a chance to experience a dinner at the Louro Restaurant as well, which I’ve written about in a separate article here.
The Conrad Algarve Resort is a true luxury resort with an incredibly massive amount on offer. I was seriously impressed by the number of pools and how well everything was were taken care of. This perfect resort also has invested in hiring great staff who only served us with a smile. If you’re looking to visit an incredible resort in the South of Portugal, look no further than Conrad Algarve Resort!
