Singapore is a city that is really starting to grow on me! On my last trip, I stayed at the Conrad Centennial hotel. The hotel is located very near the Promenade MRT station. The property is not too far away from the waterfront and I must recommend you go there during the evening hours because it is gorgeous! I was very happy to arrive at the property and observe the luxurious lobby with very high ceilings. On the same floor as the lobby, you can find their Oscar restaurant, which I’ve written about in a separate article.

After speaking with the receptionist, I was whisked up to the executive lounge on the 31st floor for a VIP check-in. After a lovely chat with the staff, I was escorted to the eighth floor to visit my new home.
The room had recently been renovated. I loved the modern design and how fresh it felt. Some of my favorite features of the room were the automatic curtains, the bed, the lovely bathroom with two sinks and of course the large TV recessed into the wall. The room features a power bank near the TV so the table can be used as a desk.
I haven’t received such an extravagant welcome gift in a while and I was super excited to see their lovely chocolate tree with strawberries and macarons. Clearly a lot of hard work was put into this and I really would like to thank the Conrad staff for making such a warm welcome for me!
Also I’d like to thank them for their lovely gin and tonic kit that appeared later in the evening. It was basically a make your own gin and tonic set with lots of high-quality ingredients which tasted fantastic. Very well done Conrad, great service!
As I mentioned before, I had a check in at the executive lounge on the 31st floor and after getting settled into the room, I returned to experience the afternoon tea. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge was quite impressive. Along with the typical scones, cakes and sandwiches there were also some more hefty items such as meat dishes. This was all great to enjoy along with the gorgeous view from so high up in Singapore!
Something unique the lounge does at the Conrad Centennial hotel is that they offer wine and beer all day long. Most executive lounges limit alcoholic beverages to the evening only, the Conrad has crushed the competition with this feature. The evening cocktail hour in the lounge was impressive. The extensive selection of food and beverages just really put me in the greatest of moods. The large capers really knocked my socks off!
A little more exploration of the property brought me to the gym and pool. The area was under renovation and I was told there would be a sauna and steam room soon. The gym staff were on their toes and always right there when I ran out of water. Another example of great service!
The lounge offers a fantastic breakfast. I enjoyed the selection and practically all of my time at this lovely location. Just a peaceful and amazing place to be!
As you can tell, the service at the Conrad Centennial hotel is out of this world. The Conrad offers a truly high-end product. I really enjoyed the newly renovated room. The lounge is definitely one of my favorites in Singapore, and with that all said, I can highly recommend you to stay at the Conrad Centennial in Singapore! Seriously.
