Recently, I visited the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Roppongi district of Minato, Tokyo. Roppongi features lots of high-end shopping, restaurants and a buzzing night life. The Grand Hyatt Tokyo is massive itself, with lots of food and beverage outlets and easily accessible from the Roppongi Metro Station.

Upon arrival at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo I was ushered up to the Grand Club Lounge. After waiting a short while for my room to become ready, I stepped into my 1 King Bed, Club Access Room where I felt a sense of familiarity as I’ve visited lots of Hyatt properties. The design was timeless, professional but also comfortable making it an easy place to relax. The wooden accents gave the property a sense of luxury. From my room, the view of Tokyo Tower was fantastic and I liked the capsule coffee maker.
Thanks for the welcome gifts Grand Hyatt Tokyo!
I appreciated the electronic window shades, and the comfortable bathroom with shower, Japanese electric toilet and bathtub.
On the fifth floor of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo are the gym, indoor pool and spa facilities. This is an area where this Grand Hyatt truly shined! The massive pool is the focal point of the floor with its chic design. The gym is just a flight of stairs above the pool with all the equipment you will need, not super expansive, but sufficient for most gym-goers.
I really loved the relaxation rooms which featured everything I could possibly want. Inside the locker rooms there was a hot bath, cold bath, dry sauna, massage chairs, and all the self-care products I needed. I rarely used my room’s bathroom because I enjoyed coming to the fifth floor so much.
On the 10th floor is the Grand Club Lounge which has both an extensive breakfast and evening cocktail and food offering. At times the lounge did get quite busy. I was impressed by all of the tasty food and how consistently good everything was. They do have soft drinks and snacks throughout the day but there is no designated afternoon tea time.
During my stay at the property I had a chance to have a meal at their Keyakizaka, Teppanyaki Restaurant which you can read about in a separate article. Let’s just say it was beef heaven!
During a tour of the property I had a chance to view the Presidential Suite and the Ambassador Suite. Both were massive and very pleasing to the eye which you can see from the photos. I look forward to staying in one of them next time! Wink.
My visit to the Grand Hyatt in Tokyo, Japan was a delight. The whole stay went off without any major issues, smooth and delightful. My favorite features of the property were the spa facilities, dining outlets and Grand Club Lounge. When it’s all said and done, I can easily recommend you to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo, Japan!
