As you all know, there were two dinners that I experienced at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The first was at their magnificent Asian restaurant called Indochine. The final night was at L’Incontro which is their Italian restaurant. Make sure you check out the review of the hotel!
First things first, I want to point out that the restaurant is overlooking a beautiful patio area. In the summer it’s opened up for business but now it was still a little bit too chilly to go outside. Sad face.
Nonetheless, we started off the meal with a great wine from Chile. For appetizers the mozzarella was very tasty so I would have to recommend it. After we are finished with the first glass of wine and the appetizers it was time to get into some serious business.
We ordered several items including a pizza, mushroom risotto, steak and of of course some seafood linguine. Just thinking about the meal now makes me wish I had it all right here in front of me!
Out of these dishes my favorites were the pizza and the mushroom risotto. The pizza was seriously fantastic! Definitely the best dish of the entire meal. The steak had nice flavor but was slightly under cooked. As I mentioned before the view was just beautiful. A very romantic setting that I really enjoyed.
Surprisingly Pierre actually controlled himself for this meal. I’m not talking about alcohol because he definitely had his fair share but he was able to not gorge himself to the point of explosion. Bravo! This is a major key in staying thin and sexy.
With all that extra room in my stomach it was time for dessert. Both desserts looked amazingly beautiful. The presentation was nothing less than perfection. The flavors matched the beauty of these creations completely! Overall, I would have to say that I definitely enjoyed the food. A majority of the it was quite good. Pierre knows what’s best so I would definitely order the risotto and the pizza when you visit!
