So Sofitel Hotel Review Singapore

The So Sofitel brand always has in-your-face designs. They definitely kept this theme at So Sofitel Singapore. The hotel is on the smaller side but packs a very strong punch in the interior and exterior design. After checking in, I was escorted by the staff up to my second floor suite.

My large suite had very high ceilings which gave the feeling of luxury and elegance. There were so many things going on in the room, it took me a while to take it all in. There was an iPad which controls everything in the room, making Pierre’s life easier. I like the fact that they have a complimentary minibar of nonalcoholic beverages and snacks! Often refilled, these snacks helped me stay satisfied. Bravo for snacks!

My suite had a nice balcony that was a great place to people watch from!

In the bathroom you’ll find a very large bathtub. You could fit a whole family in there. This actually goes applies to the shower as well, because both are giant! When you turn on the rain shower, a blue light comes on which is very soothing.

Also on the second floor of the So Sofitel Singapore is the So Fit Gym. It’s a boutique hotel so the gym is on the smaller side but still offered a great place to work out. I liked that they offered orange juice as well as water in the refrigerator.

Another great feature of this property would be the rooftop pool and bar. The pool looks great at all times of day. The property is located near the Downtown MRT station. Right across the street from the property is a Hawker Center called Lau Pa Sit. This is where you can find tons of regional tasty food for very reasonable prices. You must try it!

The breakfast takes place in the lobby restaurant. There you can find a nice buffet and also a smaller à la carte menu.
