My final hotel stay in Kyiv, Ukraine was at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv City Centre. Previously I had stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil in the old town, but was happy to have a change of scenery in the modern-day center. Just around the block from the hotel is the St. Sophia Cathedral which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This property has recently undergone a complete renovation and is now basically a brand new hotel. Upon arrival, I met with the staff who quickly pulled up my reservation details and promptly checked me in.

The lobby was actually the first area where I noticed the evidence of the massive renovation. Just beautiful.
Then it was up to the fifth floor to see my room at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv City Centre. I opened the door and was very impressed with the modern design. The room was very stylish and fit together like a glove. From the light fixtures, to the lounge chair, to the round closet design, it was all stunning. The room was just the right size, not too small not too large. The bedding was very comfortable and I slept great for both of my nights.
On one side of the closet was a kettle with instant coffee, hot cocoa mix, and tea. On the other side was the standard closet and compartment for iron and ironing board.
The bathroom was fairly straightforward and included a single shower stall and a single-sink vanity. The Radisson Blu toiletries smelled great and the fixtures worked well. The massage shower head combined with strong water pressure really helped me to loosen up my neck!
On the -1 floor are the fitness center, steam room, and dry sauna. The facilities were comfortable and not divided by gender. This means that the steam room and sauna are quite large. During my visit, I didn’t see any other guests and really enjoyed my relaxation. The gym has a good amount of modern equipment to choose from as well.
Breakfast at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv City Centre is located on the ground floor, next to the lobby. In typical Radisson Blu fashion, the breakfast was absolutely massive in size and selection. In addition to this massive buffet offering, there’s more than a handful of a la carte options to choose from! I went with poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, which were super tasty. The staff were especially kind and welcoming at breakfast as well.
The stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv City Centre was simply lovely! I must say the proximity to major attractions in Kyiv is really impressive. Whether it’s the design, great food, lovely service, location, or quality of the facilities, the the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv City Centre is a fantastic place to stay!
