I mentioned the amazing view I had while staying at the Hilton Habtoor in Beirut. Do you recall? Of course you do because you read all of my articles. Anyways, Le Ciel restaurant has an even more amazing view than I had in my room.
The dining room is absolutely fantastic also. White tablecloths along with classic styling offer a feeling of elegance. We arrived for lunch and were shown to our giant table. Easily we could have had 10 people join us. Feeling very VIP. Wink.
The lunch was setup buffet style and offered a few dishes that were prepared on the spot including some tasty pasta. Overall, the food was great. Le Ciel offers a fairly extensive wine list so we chose a nice bottle of Lebanese wine that paired quite well with the international food.
After doing some damage to the buffet, things started to wind down. It was now dessert and coffee time! Being in Lebanon for the first time I was very interested in trying all of the local food and lucky for me I had a huge selection of Lebanese desserts to choose from along with some international choices.
At the end of the day I have to say that lunch at Le Ciel was my favorite meal at the Hilton Habtoor in Beirut. A majority of the food at the buffet was quite good. It is known for it’s international food so you should focus on these options and of course the local options. The service was fantastic and the styling plus the view really makes it a great place to enjoy. If you find yourself in Beirut looking for a great lunch buffet don’t hesitate to try Le Ciel at the Hilton Habtoor!
