The Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is a luxury hotel located in Ortigas Center, a central business district located within the joint boundaries of Pasig, Mandaluyong and Quezon City. I arrived in the afternoon, and went up to the 44th floor to check in at the Continental Club Lounge. Luckily I arrived just in time for afternoon tea which I’ll talk about later. The check-in process went smooth and I proceeded to the 43rd floor to see my room!

Being up so high in the building ensured fantastic views of the surrounding areas. The style of the room was contemporary, luxurious, and a bit corporate. You could say that the room paired with Pierre quite well. Wink.
This Continental Superior Room featured a desk area, coffee machine, tea kettle, sofa, and plenty of storage. The Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotel did a great job with the bed and bedding. Super-soft and fluffy helped me doze off in supreme comfort.
The bathroom was separated by a window from the rest of the room and had a full-size bathtub and rain shower. Truly a lovely design. Also, the fragrance of the toiletries was quite nice!
Thank you Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotel for the welcome chocolate and fruit, you’re so thoughtful.
As mentioned, my room was a Continental Club room meaning I had access to the Continental Club Lounge on the 44th floor. The Continental Club Lounge has a very full offering including buffet and a la carte breakfast, extensive afternoon tea offering, and evening cocktail/food hours. The sandwiches during the afternoon were delicious. That being said, some items during breakfast and the evening could use a bit of improvement. Overall, the Continental Club Lounge had a great design, service, and view!
The 44th floor also has a Cantonese restaurant called Lung Hin. During my visit I had a very enjoyable dinner which you can read about in a separate article by clicking here.
Up a level, on the 45th floor is VU’s Sky Bar And Lounge. VU’s has a roof but is open air on one side. There is a great relaxed ambiance to enjoy the lovely view.
On the 22nd floor the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotel is the pool, dry sauna, and gym facilities. These also have a very enticing design. Gorgeous, functional, and great service throughout.
In summary, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotel really excels with its design and service. There was some room for improvement with some of the food, but overall, the property is quite good. The Lung Hin Cantonese Restaurant is truly fantastic! Overall, this was a great introduction to the Marco Polo brand and I would not hesitate to visit again!
