Right after touching down on the tarmac at the Manila Airport, I looked over and saw the Sheraton Manila Hotel. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel so near to an airport before, it’s literally just across the street. The good thing about the property is that it’s basically sound proof, as I didn’t hear planes at all during my entire stay. The Sheraton Manila Hotel had recently opened when I visited so everything was brand-new, and shiny. I was very excited to explore!

From the moment I walked into the Sheraton Manila Lobby, I was impressed by the luxurious feel. It was a pleasure interacting with the reception staff before going up to the eighth floor to check out my room. The Sheraton Manila is part of the Resorts World Manila complex and right next door to a casino and mall which makes for a lot of dining options.
The view from my room was not of the airport but of the massive pool. The room was medium-sized and very fresh and modern feeling. All of the technology was top-notch and very comfortable. I liked the colors used in the interior which fit together well and not too in-your-face. The room had a teakettle but did not have a coffee maker. I did have Executive Club Lounge access for the duration of the stay which is where I had my unlimited coffee.
My bathroom at the Sheraton Manila Hotel was a part of the room that really shined. The bathroom was very luxurious featuring a large bathtub, separated shower stall, automatic washing toilet, and a vanity that tied it all together. The shampoo smelled great!
Chocolate on the pillow during turn-down service is always welcomed!
As mentioned, my two-night stay included Executive Club Lounge access which was temporarily set up on the mezzanine floor. The Executive Club Lounge offered complimentary continental breakfast, all day soft drinks and snacks, evening hors d’oeuvres, and evening cocktails and desserts well into the evening. Alcoholic beverages from 5:30pm to 9:30pm! Also included with lounge access were the pressing of two items per day, 15 pages of complimentary printing, as well as 2 hours use of the boardroom. As the Sheraton Manila was brand-new, they were still working on completing the permanent location of the Executive Club Lounge. Regardless, the temporary lounge was still comfortable with decent food and beverage options with great service. Try a star apple! Amazing.
On the ground floor is where the standard breakfast takes place, in the massive S Kitchen Restaurant. Sheraton Manila really put on a great breakfast with many options to choose from. Since this was my first trip to the Philippines, I focused heavily on local Filipino food, and was not disappointed. All tasted great! The attentive service really made it a great experience.
During my stay I also got to experience the lunch buffet, which had a similar amount of options as breakfast, and once again, was very tasty. Just like at breakfast, I focused mostly on the local food and was very impressed with the quality. The also had a fresh ice cream making station! It was very fun to watch.
The pool and fitness center were available on the third floor of the property and were definitely the focal point of the Sheraton Manila. The pool is absolutely massive, with tons of areas surrounding it to sit and relax. If you’ve got the time, this is the place to hang out. The gym is on the modest side, but has new high-quality equipment, and looks out over the pool. When I visited, there were no steam rooms or saunas but I heard they would be finished soon.
Overall, the Sheraton Manila is a very beautiful property, and the close proximity to the airport can’t be beat. I’m excited to come back and visit again when all of the facilities are finished. The Sheraton Manila is a gorgeous property, with great convenience, quality service, and tasty food! If the location is convenient for you, go ahead and stay the the Sheraton Manila!
