Conveniently located directly across the street from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport is the Savoy Manila Hotel. The property is actually part of Resorts World Manila which has many conveniences. During my first stay to the Philippines I visited this property. Savoy Manila offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, making it a very convenient property to fly in and out of. Savoy Hotel is rather new and thus the entire premises felt very fresh and modern!

My room at the Savoy Hotel in Manila was rather spacious and offered a lovely view of the surrounding area. A majority of the room was styled in a business fashion but accented with bold colors. Overall, I enjoyed the style and branding of the Savoy Manila Hotel. I appreciated that the hotel used glass water bottles to save plastic waste as well!
The bathroom in my room at the Savoy Manila had a shower, single sink, and toilet. It was slightly small but was sufficient for my use.
On the second floor of the Savoy Manila Hotel guests can find a gym, relaxation facilities, outdoor pool, and poolside bar. The gym was fairly extensive offering both modern machines and free weights. The outdoor pool was gorgeous both day and night, and a lovely place to relax with its poolside bar. Inside of the changing rooms, guests can find both a dry sauna and steam room.
During my stay at the Savoy Manila Hotel, I had a chance to have dinner and breakfast at their Savoy Cafe, located on the ground floor. Breakfast consisted of a buffet spread as well as an egg station. The buffet had regional cuisine as well as Western and other Asian options including laksa, congee, and steamed buns.
For dinner at Savoy Cafe, I was able to sample a few items from their à la carte menu, including the pork ribs, pasta with salmon, and the famous Halo Halo! The ribs were great, so was the pasta, and the Halo Halo was a must. Halo Halo is a traditional Filipino dessert which incorporates jelly, red beans, ice, jack fruit, and in this case, ice cream.
As mentioned, Savoy Manila Hotel is part of the Resorts World Manila compound which features several hotels, restaurants, Newport Mall and Cinema, and much more. I took advantage of the free shuttle to check out the Newport Mall along with its wide variety of restaurants. I’d definitely recommend the Silogue Restaurant which serves Filipino food but I also enjoyed Ginzadon, Cafe Maxims, and The Terrace.
The Savoy had excellent service during my visit and even incorporated a turn-down service where I was left chamomile tea and cookies.
My stay at the Savoy Hotel in Manila was lovely. This property is conveniently located, modern, offers great service and facilities. I can easily recommend Savoy Manila Hotel.
