While exploring Singapore, I noticed an incredibly gorgeous building and soon came to find out that it was the PARKROYAL hotel on Pickering which I would soon be staying at. The exterior has a forest attached to it, which is obviously quite unique. I love fantastic architecture!

I walked into the lobby for a fairly straightforward check in process. I had to wait a little for my room so I headed up to the executive club lounge on the 16th floor for a coffee. All areas I found in the hotel were gorgeous, just like the exterior. This definitely included the beautiful club lounge. It was very bright, with light colors. The lounge offered breakfast, afternoon tea and evening alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres. They definitely hit the nail on the head when it came to the food! The quality of everything I ate was amazing. I love hotels that focus on great tasting food and was very thankful for this at the PARKROYAL.
Shortly after my visit to the lounge, I was told my room was ready. The room was gorgeous. It incorporated a very green feeling throughout. Not only in color, but in the feeling of nature. To look out the window, you have to look through trees which really put me in a great mood. The headboard on the bed also resembled tree trunks.
I absolutely adored the bathtub with a very comfortable design and unique colorway. Little things like a complementary minibar and great coffee machine made me extra-excited. And a quick note, the maid staff really did a great job with the cleaning services. They even took the time to wrap up my cords and organize my things which I only expect at the highest level of hotels. My hat is off to you PARKROYAL on Pickering!
The design and great facilities of this property did not end there. On the fifth floor of the property is the very impressive pool, gym and spa area. Along the pool, there are these gorgeously designed cabanas. The gym overlooks the pool and has all the equipment I could ever want. Once again, the design was impeccable! There was a steam room located in the changing room. The design here was also lovely, with a small pond outside of the window.
I went back to the lounge in the evening to enjoy the food and cocktails. The next morning the breakfast continued the theme of quality. The breakfast had champagne if you would like to indulge. I went for an omelette and enjoyed a few other items from the buffet. I also want to point out the quality of coffee in the lounge and in the rooms was great. Very smooth and strong, just the way I like it.
The PARKROYAL Hotel on Pickering has made it to one of my top hotels in the world. It’s conveniently located, has a very incredible design, the service was fantastic and offers very tasty food. They really go above and beyond and I’m not just saying that. Why settle for something ordinary when you could have something extraordinary at the PARKROYAL hotel on Pickering in Singapore!
