Over the years, I have developed more and more familiarity with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Brand. On my latest trip to Canada, I was lucky enough to stay at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto. The Ritz-Carlton Toronto is located just next to the CN Tower, right in the heart of the city. As far as location goes, it’s quite hard to beat!

From the moment I pulled up to the valet, to the moment I checked out, I was treated exceptionally well. After handing over my vehicle and checking in, it was up to the 19th floor to view the room. For this stay I secured a Luxury Deluxe Room with Ritz-Carlton Club Level access. From the moment I opened the door, I felt a sense of luxury. The room’s view was looking out at the CN Tower and surrounding city. The staff were kind enough to leave a tray of chocolates for our arrival, thank you Ritz-Carlton Toronto staff!
In the bathroom I was pleasantly surprised by a large bathtub, two sinks with a large vanity and separated shower and toilet stalls. I loved the overall style and feel of the bathroom which was very pleasant and bright. Of course you can expect high-quality toiletries as well.
In the room there was a large closet and sizable coffee and tea station. I liked the massive electric tea kettle in addition to the capsule coffee maker.
Just one floor up from my room’s floor was The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. The club lounge was definitely my favorite part of the whole property! The Ritz-Carlton Toronto Club Lounge has a super extensive offering including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and a fairly extensive food offering in the evening. What was special about this lounge is that alcohol is available from 11:00 AM all the way to late evening. If you like to drink and enjoy the finer things in life, this is the place to go! Throughout the entire stay, all the food and drink were fantastic.
Another feature of the lounge I liked was the amount of sweets always available. They had containers of candy and cookies available all-day. The staff were the cherry on top of the entire Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge experience as they were super pleasant.
Another area where The Ritz-Carlton Toronto excelled was with their fitness and spa facilities. The Ritz-Carlton Toronto has a residence which shares the gym with the hotel. There is tons of equipment so no need to worry about waiting around. When I finished at the gym, I headed over to the changing rooms connected to the spa. This area had a nice design equipped with steam rooms and saunas. Just next to the spa you’ll find a beautiful indoor pool, which has a timeless design.
During the stay we had a chance to have a drink at the Ritz Bar next to the lobby as well as a dinner at their TOCA Italian Restaurant. Feel free to read about the TOCA Italian Restaurant in a separate article.
All in all, I greatly enjoyed my time at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto. The hotel offers a fantastic all-around product and service. The people of The Ritz-Carlton Toronto really make this property what it is, magnificent. At the time of my visit, the property was a bit aged but I heard it will be updated shortly and I can’t wait to revisit after the update takes place! Either before or after the update, I highly recommend you to visit The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada!
