During my first trip to Toronto, I was able to get a great idea of what this fine city had to offer. My first stop was the Intercontinental Toronto Centre hotel. I arrived at the valet to drop of my car and then proceeded to check-in.

The hotel offers a very business oriented style. The bedrooms are modern and cohesive in their decorating. They remind me of other Intercontinental hotels I’ve stayed at, especially in Tokyo. Everything feels rich in quality, yet also minimal at the same time.
The view from my room was an unobstructed view of the CN tower. Talk about perfect! The look changes throughout the day and night, and was always pleasing to the eyes. The staff were pleasant enough to offer me a bottle of wine and delicious treats upon my arrival. Everything was fantastic!
On the third floor of the hotel, they have their spa and fitness areas. Although the gym is smaller in size, it does not lack in equipment or quality there of. It was quite busy the first morning, but I had no problems using any of the equipment. They also have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi area. Near the spa, you will also find locker rooms, which have a steam room. They keep it super hot, just how I like it!
I made sure to sample their buffet breakfast at their Azure restaurant. They have a wide range of options. Similar to the gym, it is not large, but the quality of everything I had was splendid. I did not taste one bite of food that wasn’t enjoyable. It all looked great as well!
The location is fantastic which made it easy to get around the rest of the city. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly as well. They weren’t always the quickest but won me over with their friendly demeanor. At the end of the day, the InterContinental Centre hotel is definitely a solid choice on your next visit to Toronto!
