Oh lawdy lawd. After Budapest I was on the move again to visit another amazing destination on my bucket list. I was off to Vienna, Austria! This city has so much history and is absolutely beautiful. Quickly the architecture had my jaw dropping left and right. The first hotel I stayed at while in Vienna was the Kempinski. If you’ve been paying attention you will know that I stayed in a Kempinski in Budapest which was actually my first introduction to the Kempinski hotel brand.

As a boss I had to get a huge suite that was big enough to stretch my legs in. After a speedy check in with friendly staff I was guided all the way up to my room. It just so happened that my room was at the opposite end of the hotel so a bit of a walk. Throughout the stay I kept getting lost in the long hallways. This was actually a benefit because I was eating so much it helped to work off some of the extra calories. Wink.
The suite itself was magnificent. They focused a lot on newer technology which was pretty cool. This showed in the control of the temperature and the shower controls specifically. Almost everything was digital and they even had an iPad that belong to the room which you could control different things with.
A great plus is that the Kempinski hotel in Vienna is centrally located. There wasn’t much of a view because the building is not too tall but it was still very quaint nonetheless.
After the first evening of excitement it was time to retire to sleep. The next morning I woke up excited to eat! I got ready and went down to a breathtaking breakfast. The dining room is a visual masterpiece. As you can see from the photos a lot of care and thought went into each part that comprised the whole of the dining experience. Well done Kempinski.
They had a plethora of breakfast items and everything was incredibly fresh. I really had no trouble finding anything my heart could desire for breakfast! Two thumbs up!
The gym is huge! I was too busy to get a workout in but check out these photos. There was everything you need to get as huge as you could ever want. All of the equipment is top of the line too! They have a really amazing indoor pool also but you will have to wait for the Kempinski Spa review for all of the photos. Wink.
Overall, the Kempinski hotel in Vienna has a very solid offering. Throughout my stay I would say that 90% of what they offer was great even though there were a few minor places for improvement such as a loose towel holder which they fixed quickly when I called. The service was very top-notch and I was treated very well by all of the staff. If you’re in Vienna looking for a beautiful hotel with great service, rooms, facilities, food and location then look no further than the Kempinski hotel!
