While I was in Vienna I got my relax game on strong with a massage at the spa in the Kempinski Hotel. If you haven’t, make sure to read the full review of the Kempinski hotel. Wink wink. While in Vienna I was able to visit some rather fine establishments. One of them happened to be this spa and the others you’ll be able to find throughout the blog.
After visiting lots of hotels throughout my travels I realized that you never really know what you’re going to get when it comes to the hotel spas. Some are great additions to great hotels and some are grasping but no quite getting to the right level. As usual Pierre was very lucky and pleasantly surprised!
Upon entering the spa I was greeted warmly by my masseuse. The spa area is very well designed. I really liked the patterns that they used throughout the spa. I was taken to a treatment room where I received a fantastic massage. It was very nice and exactly what I needed after all of my very stressful travels. The pressure of the massage was on point and the masseuse was a true professional. After the treatment I was moving slow like a sloth because I was extremely relaxed.
After the massage I was suggested to use the other facilities that were equally amazing. Pierre loves himself a nice steam room especially post massage. Lucky for me they had plenty of different rooms with varying temperatures to choose from. There was also an opportunity to check out their amazing indoor pool. Seriously look at this thing!
Overall, my time at the spa at the Kempinski hotel in Vienna was fantastic! If you’re looking to relax you really don’t need to think twice about going for a treatment. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.
